Well, summer's 1/2 over! Is there anything that you would REALLY like to do this summer but don't think you'll get to doing it?

Well, we haven't done much yet , it seems, only wait for summer to arrive. I'm feeling a bit down that we'll have cold weather soon and then a LONG winter.

Maybe I need a vacation :-)

I agree Carla! The summer here has been wet and cold! We haven't opened the pool for almost 2 weeks!! The boys are happy still just goofing off, and no one wants to go anywhere. Both boys are ready to go back to school, so that's good. Not much for the month of August except back to school shopping. Both boys are such "divas" and they want, want, want!! LOL!!

I would like to be able to take the boys to the beach! We couldn't go during the fires b/c of all the smoke in the air and now that has cleared up...it's just too stinkin' hot! Sorry everyone on the East Coast...we're parched and toasted out West

I would really like to take a road trip to Victoria and see the new exhibits at the museum but I don't thing we'll make it this year... we are putting our son through 3 months of trade school... him and his pregnant gf are living here... no money... new baby mid-September (new photo ops) and he will have to commute 67 km round trip... so no money for any side trips for us right now! (I am feeling sorry for myself here.... but it's really okay... maybe....

It has been very hot here, and I would love to share it with Carla and Deanne. You guys have had a HORRIBLE time with cool/cold/wet weather there. UGH. Bless your hearts. ((HUGZ))

Helen, my parents went to Lake Temagami to a cottage for a week (seeing relatives) let's hope it isn't too cold for them this coming week. I hope u get to use YOUR pool!

LOL: I would like to LOSE SOME WEIGHT this summer but I don't think I am going to get at it. The ice cream is TOO GOOD here-- plus it's ALWAYS on special! LOL LOL
