I've been trying to think of something a little different for this week... so what I want you to do is... go wander around the town you live in and write down 5 things you see as a tourist in your own town, that you would tell other people about to make them want to visit.

Here's mine:

wind surfing
estuary within walking distance of downtown
mountain climbing (if you're brave or insane)
waterfalls
small shops

Here is mine:

LDS Temple
Petified forest (up the road a little)
Historic Homes tour (these are BEAUTIFUL!)
Snowboarding/sking in winter
Lots of antique shops (These are my FAV!)

National Steeple Chase Races

The NorthEast River, great fishing and boating..so many specialty shops and restaurants all gathered on the Main Street geared towards tourists.

Fairhill Nature Center.

The Beehive...Colonial Buildings that have been preserved and host an apple butter festival every year. ( I changed my Blog background last night...pictures are from the Bee hive.

The annual Haunted Ghost tour thru some historic homes..We have a local author that has written many stories about the area...he is the host of the tours.

Oh... wow... these make me want to travel... I love old buildings and historical sites... and the haunted house tour sounds like fun too...and I love, love, love butterflies and antique shops too...!

Our town doesn't have that much exciting stuff. We have a nice boardwalk trail and that's about it.

Oh, we do have one of the largest glacial terminal morraines -- it's over a km long -- TONS of sand!
