| Sometimes you have the perfect chipboard letter, but the color is all wrong, or it doesn't match with your project.  The neat thing about chipboard is that you can usually peel off the top layer.  Here's what you'll end up with:  Then you can ink/paint/paper/bling your letters to work with your project.  |

| 1. Doesn't this ALSO give you double the letters? 2. It will also mean less weight on the page and thus in the album overall! What a GREAT idea Carla! TY. |

I use PaintShopPro, and that's one of the options for frames. |

| I love that ... actually I do it too... and I also just paint over the original color or cover them with paper too... I love chipboard! I also love the crackle effect... here is a letter I painted with white then coated with crackle stuff then painted blue...  |

| I picked the crackle stuff up at walmart... I think you can buy it other places... it's called... Folkart Crackle Medium made by Plaid - I have an 8 fl. oz. bottle and I think it was only about $4 and lasts forever! |
