Here's the link to a tutorial I posted on another forum -- Scrapbook Heaven (on the DT there). I made a tag using the technique of "paper tole". It was so much fun to do. My 13 yo daughter has been going crazy with this -- I'll try and get pics of her projects. They're so cute!

Anyway, enjoy the tutorial!

Sorry, didn't realize that you couldn't see the tutorial unless you're registered. Check below for the tutorial.

Ooops, didn't think of that. I'll just copy it here :-)

Paper Tole is the art of constructing a 3-dimensional image from a 2-dimensional print.

I don't have too many image stamps to use, so I decided to look for a DIGITAL STAMP -- something that's becoming quite popular these days! I used a stamp from Wendy's Digital Doodling

You can visit her site and grab the image for yourself. She gives instructions on how to download and print. Very easy to do :-)

Here's what you'll need:
the digital image (probably need 4 copies)
some sort of coloring pens/pencils
pop dots
misc. paper and embellishments

Start by coloring 2 complete images. I inked around all my pieces with a brown ink.

Add popdots to the back of the image that is cut out. Adhere to base image.

For the next layer, I colored the head and top cape section, the cuffs/handwarmer, and lastly the bottom trim of her coat. I adhered those using popdots.

I colored another section -- the handwarmer -- and attached those as the highest popped layer.

I finished my tag using some Stickles for the snow.
