|  Howdy. My name's Aimeslee and I just registered. Here's the 411 on me right now: I'm a recovering atc and mixed media addict who still makes greeting cards. I'm trying hard to get back to my first love of scrapbooking and the Hubster insists now that I also get our photos organized and secure. So, I signed up with Carbonite and am backing up as we speak, I am waiting impatiently for Stacy Julian's Finding Photo Freedom class to open, and I've been uploading photos to print and acquiring photo albums. I also bought PSE9 and am aiming to learn the basics on it after using Paint Shop Pro for a decade. Whew! I'm tired now!  Anyway, I'm here for now to participate in the Photo Editing forum...I hopefully can learn something. And, since I'll hopefully also be scrapping again soon, I might be able to participate a bit more, in the gallery. I'm not a digital scrapper. I have to touch the materials, lol. | Welcome to SOS, but I have a question.. why on earth would you ditch PSP for another photo editing program when PSP will do anything you want it to do? |

| Hey y'all (I'm from Texas, go figure ). Thanks for all the welcomes. I look forward to getting to know all of you. I'm only hanging at one place like this and I feel I picked a winner.  Colleen, I'll have to check out the bash, how exciting. Helen, I think I *know* you and have lurked your blog before. I really connect with your layouts. Jackie P, I know, right? It was on account of the wonky way X2 operated on my laptop, even after support tried to help. PSE is very stable in comparison, but I am really missing PSP's Print Layout. I hope I learn different, but from what I can gather so far I will not have the same flexibility in PSE and I'll really miss being able to create a page to print with different sizes on the fly. If anyone knows different, I'd love to learn! Cyndi, oh goody, I already know a classmate. I pretty much explained why I'm taking it, I'd love to hear sometime what your goals for it are. Lois, I definitely qualify for the 12-step paper fetish recovery program, but of course I don't want to. Well, I got up too early and am gonna go lie down now for awhile. I had a pretty bad attack of some kind and am still a little sore and weak, gonna take it easy today. Details on my blog if you wanna read. xoxo |
