I've been getting some of my dies from Sizzix outlet.....some are only $2.99 a piece....you should check it out. And they have specials every week of select dies for 50% off.

Lisa, I only have five cartridges for my Cricut, I use SCAL instead and use the fonts on my computer.

SCAL is a program called Sure Cuts A Lot.. here is the URL for it http://www.craftedge.com/index.html it is a great program and costs less than a cartridge.. at least here in Canada it is less than a cartridge LOL. It allows you to use any font on your computer plus there are lots of places on line where you can download SVG files that you can also use to cut with the Cricut. Colleen also has a program that she uses with her Cricut to cut a lot of stuff, can't remember the name of it now.. I tried to buy it online using PayPal but it kept saying that the email address I was using wasn't the same as the one at PayPal even though it was the same one... grrrrrrrrrr. I think the one she has is really better than SCAL so check it out with her first okay.
