I take photographs of my kids' school artwork projects, and scrap those. I do this a LOT. Works wonderfully!! Makes for fun pages and happy memories- and less items that get all crackly and dried out & icky stashed in keepsake boxes!

I only save a very few for the keepsake box (each kiddo has one.) I do take pics of everything they make though! Thus have pics of ALL of them. Smile When the pics are scrapped, it makes for fun memories and pretty cool kid-themed artwork albums! And less bulky stuff to STORE AWAY! Wink

Ali I am doing something like for my DD as well. I have a huge box of all her preschool things. When she's finished in June; I'm going to try to make somekind of collage to picture and then scrap. The pictures that are smaller than 12x12 I just put that right in a page protector and put it right in her scrapbook.
