PostSubject: Project 365   January 6th 2011, 2:51 am

Is anyone doing the Project 365 photo challenge this year? I know that I won't take a photo a day so I am aiming for at least a few photos a week Wink

I am doing my own take on the Project Life/Project 365 and I am really hoping that it works out the way I want it too. I just need to organize my paper stash and find the stuff I want to use and I am set to take my photos and print.

I did this two years ago and really enjoyed it! I found I was always looking for opportunities to take pics, and that was great!

I believe it originally started with a photography site but morphed into the scrapbooking world. The premis is that you take one photo a day (of anything you want) and you end up with a year of photos to document your life. I *think* I saw it on Ali Edward's site a few years ago. This works well with Becky Higgins' Project Life concept of documenting you life every month and you have a complete scrapbook at the end of the year. It's great b/c you don't have to do a complete scrapbook page for each photo/event and you have a little snippet of every day/events/happenings with minimal effort at the end.

I love Becky's product package but just can't afford it so I am making my own Smile

I did it 2 years ago as well! I think I made it to about June or July. I don't know if I will try it again this year or not. I think I finally resolved to take more pictures of the small things (like the army men in my dishwasher)instead of just b-days etc.

Stephanie you are too funny. I'd also like to see that layout.

I've never heard of Project 365 either - sounds interesting but I know I'd never be able to do it.

I started doing it but somehow got sidetracked... I take a lot of photos in general... I think it would be fun to do again.

Me too. Heck I could take one picture and it would fill about 3/4 of the year. And that would be a photo of me sitting at my desk everyday. The only thing that would change would be the clothes aI am wearing and which dog is in my way. LOL!!
