Do you attend crops and/or classes? If so how often?

I used to attend a crop every month when I lived in California. A group of us would meet up and spend all day scrapping, talking, and just having fun. But since I have been out here in Vegas, I have attended only three. I do have a 3 day scrapbook retreat scheduled for January! I can't wait. This will be my second retreat. I love crops and retreats!

Classes... when I first started scrapping I attended classes to learn how to make mini books and to learn techniques. But now, I only attend online classes given by my friends for support.

I love attending crops and classes. I have taught many, also. Next month I am teaching a double layout class. Also, a friend and I have organized our 6th weekend scrapbooking retreat -- that's coming up on Nov 5th. Can't wait!!

i have only just started attending crops by myself anbd love it.

i used to host them all the time. now just need to clean ujp my area so i can do them again - loved teaching and having the chatter going on!

I have attended a couple of local crops a few years back.

I attended just a couple of classes at the LSSs when I first started. I like quiet and my own space too much to try a crop or retreat.

Never been to a crop! Maybe one day, but I am like Gail.. love my own space and own stuff around!

You mean there are scrappy stores in Vegas!!!!!????????????

I've been to a couple of classes at my LSS but that's it. I'd love to attend more but the pages aren't my style & I don't feel like I'm learning anything. I'd love to go to a crop sometime!

I have never gone to crops, really no desire.

I love crops... but I am pretty much a single scrapper... however... crops are a great way to meet women who have something in common... I have met a lot of online friends at crops and through the years we have become better friends.

@ Lois... yes! There are 3. I really only go to one, which is small but she has alot of new and great items! I attended a crop there and the ladies were very nice. I had a great time. There are alot of retreats and fund raisers out here so it can get a bit expensive to crop. lol

I go to as many crops as I can find out about. My Mom and I are headed to a four day crop on Thursday morning. They are oodles of fun. I love how you can say I need a piece of black cardstock and the amount of people willing to stop what they are doing to get you that cs.

I used to attend crops/classes at my GF's store but she doesn't have it anymore. I also used to get together with ladies every month but my schedule doesn't allow that anymore.

I've never done either. Guess I'm a solitary scrapper. Well I did enroll in Heidi Swapp's "A Year to Remember" online class and thought it was a total rip off. I really didn't stay with the class as it was not at all what I was expecting. Lesson learned I guess.....

I would love to teach classes at this stage and help beginning scrappers but there's not much of a venue around here.,
