| It looks like the the burlap gunny sacks we used to sit on to ride down the giant slide at the Minnesota state fair.....only a lighter version....and probably not as thick as burlap....  |

| yeah looks like a burlap to me only very thin. altho it might be a type of canvas?

| Here's what Mom emailed e a few min ago:
"It might be hopsacking. It is a plain weave roughly spun thread, probably cotton or linen. Burlap is usually made from hemp or sisal but the weave is plain and loose like this. Could it be bleached burlap? Love, Mum-----" |

| I was thinking a type of bleached burlap as well...I actually have some of that stuff somewhere around here...lol. Aida cloth isn't as "rough" looking and the threads are more consistent and even. HTH! |
