Hey, I just want to let you know that I have been having problems linking to the gallery in the forums. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if there is a glitch but I wanted to bring it to your attention.

Right click on the image, click properties. Copy the address (url). Come back to the forum and p[aste it into the message. Don't forget to add [ img] at the beginning of the url and [ /img] at the end of the url (without the spaces)

Are you copying ALL of the url? Most times when I do it, there's almost 3 lines in the url.

It was funny last night when I was trying to post a photo, typing the img parts and pasting the url worked when I previewed. I decided I needed to resize the photo. When I came back to do it with the new url, it didn't work.

I remember one other forum I was on a long time ago had a problem like this and we had to add something to the url to make it work... like a part of the string of letters was missing.

The only other thing is could be is that we're using up the allowed bandwidth (??) I can't even upgrade the gallery until July 20th, so either it fixes itself or I have to find another solution. The gallery has always been an issue, and it's so frustrating.

I have a photobucket account, too, so I can use that if needed. I don't know if that's an option for everyone. Also, I don't know we can make comments on pics in photobucket -- which we need for a scrapbook gallery.

carla, i just upload to the gallery and if i need to link in the forums, i bring it over from photobucket...

how about if we use our blogs and just put a link in the thread we are supposed to add a layout to?
