April is Autism Awareness Month! Across the United States and beyond, the autism community is celebrating its members, holding special events to raise awareness, and raising money for research. Autism awareness is in October in Canada.

I know that we all know someone personally who is Autistic and the struggles the family and them face everyday.

The national symbol for Autism is a puzzle piece...



and that is what we are swapping!!!

This swap is going to go on until the end of May, because I am going to send each of you who sign up a puzzle, with a person's name on the back of each piece. When you get your puzzle pieces decorated, you will send the puzzle piece to the person whose name is on the back of that piece.

Once we all receive these puzzle pieces in the mail, we should each have a puzzle that fits together!!

Here is an example of what I mean...





You can decorate them anyway you wish, and add any embellishments.. just make sure the edges are clean so we can fit them together.

Sign ups for this swap will close Friday April 6th at midnight.

Once we have everyone signed up, I will send you the pieces for the puzzle (and the MOO cards I have) for you to get creating. You will then have until mid May to get your pieces to the person whose name is on that piece.

THEN, once you receive all your pieces .... you will have until the end of May to get a project done using these pieces!!!

So ladies... hope that is clear as mud!! LOL!!
