Using Tissue paper to get a special effect is easy to do.

I started with a plain piece of white tissue paper.


I mixed some magenta metalic craft paint with water in a mister bottle and shook it really good.


Then I sprayed the tissue paper with it.


Once the tissue paper was dry, I scrumpled it up first and then smoothed it out a bit left some of the crinkles in it.


Next I took my precut cardstock and glued the tissue paper to it, then I trimmed it away leaving just enough to wrap around and glue to the back of the cardstock.



Then I stamped my sentiment on the tissue paper and embossed it, being very careful to keep the embossing tool moving so as not to burn the tissue paper.
Then I glued it all together to complete my card.


I would love to see you try this technique for yourself, and see what you make using it

Oh, that is beautiful! I'm not sure if I have tissue paper here, though. Might have to look through the c'mas decorations :-)
