What inspires you most to create a layout or card ?

usually when it comes to cards , i just need the right papers to get me in the groove to create something. but layouts , i can stare at photos forever...but if there's a set challenge that grabs me, i use it on maybe 2 or 3 different layouts to get the mojo flowing !

A card? The inspiration I need is knowing that I "should" have made one earlier... (I'm bad at cards)

A layout? Usually a photo will inspire me. The challenges are also very inspiring and help get things done. I love a good challenge!

For layouts it's usually the papers that inspire me.

I need the challenges to get things going for me on both.

Layouts are easy for me. I look at pics and usually have a gazillion ideas.

Cards on the other hand are MUCH harder! I usually need a sketch and/or a challenge.

Love challenges for both cards and layouts though! Keeps the creative juices flowing.

Usually the papers inspire me and I dig through the photos to find the ones that go with it.

But occasionally I have a photo that just screams to be scrapped Right.Now. so I go backwards and search for papers to match.



With cards, it's usually the time frame/deadline that makes me get to it.

It is my photos, certain photos just lean toward certain papers.

Usually the photo will inspire me... but sometimes it could be the paper!

Photos are usually the starting point for layouts.

I make cards for a few specific people and try to make something I think they will like. Other than that, I usually just make them for challenges. In the past few months I've given away a number of the cards I had on hand from past challenges so I think I'm going to try to stock up on some again.

Mostly my photos and if I happen to find just the right paper!!
