Love those ideas.

The clips on the cables - our techies at work make us do this with our cables whenever we get new equipment. Works great! And you can spruce them up too, especially if they will be visible at all. The one I have holding up the cords for my chargers in my travel trailer are covered with adhesive fabric that matches our bedspread and a little dab of acrylic paint to cover the edges. Smile

That glass shelf in the back of the shower is a great idea, never would have thought of that.

TFS Carla! Smile

I hate seeing a bunch of wires under the computer desk. Thankfully our desptop is soon going -- I just need to find time to move everything to the laptop.

I despise all the cables that seem to be necessary for technology. I have a nice old desk that I use in my office. It has plenty of "real estate" (as my dh says) for my computer, printer, monitor, scanner to fit easily but.... ALL THE CABLES drive me crazy! This morning I had had enough. The worst cables are the microphone and camera for Skype. It's being used a LOT more these days because ds and dil skype with the kids every day. I find black cords all over my workspace... No it makes me insane... (well not totally, I have other things to do that for me.. ...

so.. the point of this post...

I knew the binder clips wouldn't work anywhere on the desk (believe me, I've tried!) so I took a command (by Scotch) hook and hung it on the wall behind my desk. I then took the offending black cords with their accoutrements and hung them on the wall. Hey Presto! No more cords on my desk and finally a "home" for those dumb little things that I have always just thrown in the pile of cords at the back of my desk!

I feel so much better. Smile

Oh I also thought the sticky tiles under the sink was genius. I have a couple of drawers in my kitchen that have been scratched by utensils etc that I think could be helped with some of those self adhesive tiles...

Awesome ideas!

Good idea about the desk, Kelly. I, at least, have all my cords bunched together with a velcro ziptie, but I still don't like the messy look. Better than all loose, I guess :-)

The stick on tiles are genius!

They work great in drawers too - just cut them to size. Easier to stick down than "mac-tac" because the tiles are stiff.

I'm wanting to stick some in the kitchen drawers, just need to find a good color to use. And I think I might even stick some on the shelf in Kane's closet - the shelf in there is so scratched up from all the 'boy' stuff being thrown up there all the time. This would solve that scratchy look and prevent it from getting worse.
