Good tips, I do wonder about her tip on butter though. I have switched from margarine to butter because I've heard margarine is like 1 molecule away from plastic. Butter also only has 3 ingredients whereas margarine has 63! I know butter has more fat but isn't it fat that our body can digest? I'd rather take that fat than man made fat that my body doesn't know how to process. I'm just so confused.

I do butter to Stephanie! I saw an experiment where they left becel out for 1 month and butter out for one month... and guess what? Nothing grew on the becel... just saying! I 'm not eating that!!! And yes.. our bodies do need fat for lots of reasons.. just not un-natural fats.

I go with real butter, also. We made the switch a few years ago. As long as you use it in moderation, it's better than margarine. And, the fat in butter is something our body needs. It's a good fat :-)

My Dad knows someone who did research years ago on some of the "good" margarines. He said he wouldn't eat it.

Thanks ladies for your input. It's disappointing that the media doesn't tell the entire truth. Also disappointing that the stuff that's bad for you costs about 68 cents & the stuff that's better for you cost $3.00 (here in the states anyway).
