I'm not sure I'd be able to do a layout in an hour. I usually pick paper and change my mind a few times. But I might give this a try. So far, I have nothing planned for that day. Does anyone have any tips to help speed up the process during that one hour?

Gail.... the best advice I can give is that I will be posting a few hints on January 1st! From these, I would gather the pics I want to use, grab some pp that you want, a few embellishments, maybe some ribbon, an alphabet for a title. I would then set this aside, and leave it until that night. When I post the layout that night, use only what you had put together before hand. Don't go sifting through alll your stuff again once the layout is posted, as you will get too overwhelmed! This way, doing a layout in one hour is no problem! it is loads of fun too!

Thanks for the tips. I'll give it a try. It will be good discipline for me not to go sifting through everything once I start as I always change my mind along the way.

Helen thanks for the advice tips!! I did my first challenege in dec & i loved it but i didnt realize my camera battery was dead so that wont happen this time round. Im getting prepared ahaha Hopefully I can get the time zone thing right any suggestions for me in alberta

So I said I would try this hey? Last evening I was thinking about this as I spent 2 or 3 hours deciding what embellishments to put on a layout that everything else was decided! The one hour sketch challenge will be interesting. I hate making decisions so it will be a challenge.
