Well... it seems like summer is finally cooling off here on the west coast and signs of fall are in the air. So, how about heading outside and taking a snap of the first sign of fall in your area. When it starts getting cooler here and the dampness sets in at night the spiders start spinning their webs closer to the house... even if we hadn't noticed anything else, this is the first sign for us to start cleaning up the yard and putting the garden to bed for winter!



This ugly fellow is right outside my kitchen window up by the porch roof! It's not a great photo because of the brightness of the day but who wants to see all that detail on a spider anyway... !

Wow! Gorgeous!!! We have spiders all over our walls outside all summer! I've gotten pics of big ones!
We have trees with leaves that are actually blood red already!

Lois, that is too creepy!!! What a great shot though! I noticed yesterday that our maple tree out front is just starting to change color! Where does the time go! Will take some pics later today (after I've had my coffee) and post!

Our trees and grass and stuff are STILL all green. "Praise the Lord for THAT," as my Mom would say. Teehee.

The rain we had in early summer nourished everything SO well that it is all still a LUsH green here in our beautiful Valley.
