Here's my challenge, a day late!! Oh dear me!!!

Get a pic of a LEAF and just A LEAF (not leaves, you can have background stuff,though). The leaf could be green, or fall colored, withered, dried up, whatever!

Hmm, this could be interesting. It snowed here on Thursday. All the more challenging.

Your leaf can have snow on it, Gail!!! I bet there's snow just around the corner for us! It's getting cold enough!!

Hubby just checked a few minutes ago and there's rain OR flurries in the forecast for next week!!!

It's that time of year isn't it? The weather has been so strange over this last year. A common saying here is "Bring on global warming" - in jest really. I know at the end of July it was reported that we had 8 months of colder than normal. I didn't here for August. Beautiful September was above normal - warmer average temps than July and August this year. And here we are in October, back to colder than normal. I'm not ready for winter coats and boots!

Aack! I just checked the temperature and its -7 at 10:00 AM. Way to cold for this time of year.

Now that everyone is gone... maybe I can get outside and get my photo done!

Lois, I love the contrast between the lively green and the dry leaf.

Here's my photo. The real challenge was finding a place where I'd only have the one leaf in the picture. Most of the leaves came off the trees as the snow fell and the wind blew. This is a bit of a cheat because at the bottom edge, there are other leaves. Still lots of leaves on some types of trees - that would be the tough ones.
