Here is my layout with a large flourish. This one is naked chipboard that I painted blue with acrylic paint and then sprayed with glimmermist to give it alittle sparkle

Woweee.... Maggi, that is really wonderful!! I love all the clusters of flowers and leaves with all the flourishes.

This was a redo of one of the first LO's I ever did. IT was fun to redo. Journal says:

June 1992

Debbie, Linda, and I stopped in the Redwood Forest for a picnic lunch during our trip to California. The forest was so lush and we had so much fun watching the chipmunks and stellar jays. They would practically steal food from your plate if you weren't paying good attention!

Of course, I was playing photographer every chance I got and here was the perfect setup. The woods were so green and the trees so majestic and here was this giant redwood stump for us to make a perfect pose! I set up the tripod, set the timer, rushed to the stump, and tried to climb up before the timer went off, but I couldn't do it. Debbie and Linda laughed themselves silly watching me try to get up that stump. Finally I gave up and took this picture of us on the forest floor!

wow - everyone's submissions look great - i love how different styles come out... that's why i love challenges, swaps etc.. we are all given the same instructions, product, etc & voila!
